Hi {{contact.first_name}},
I’ve been talking about Power BI, so let me address the three objections I hear most often:
“We’re not big enough for BI.”
If you have more than 5 people making decisions from data — even just sales figures in a spreadsheet — you’re big enough. Power BI is already included in most Microsoft 365 licences. The software is free. You’re already paying for it.
“We tried BI before and nobody used the dashboards.”
That usually means the dashboards were built for the IT team, not the people who actually need the data. We start with the business question: what decision do you need to make, and what number do you need to make it? Then we build backwards from there. The result is dashboards people open every morning because they’re actually useful.
“It’ll take months and cost a fortune.”
A focused dashboard project — one data source, one team, one set of KPIs — typically takes 2–4 weeks and pays for itself within the first quarter. We scope it tightly and deliver fast. No six-month discovery phases.
If any of those objections were holding you back, hopefully this helps. Either way, happy to chat.
Best,
Matthew Spuffard
